Degree Accreditation

University accreditation is a kind of quality assurance process in which services and processes of post-secondary educational institutions or programmes are evaluated by an external body to determine whether they meet the applicable standards. Recognized British qualifications

United Kingdom enjoys a well-deserved worldwide fame for its high standard and prestigious higher Education. Well over 100 UK establishments are allowed to offer a large number of qualifications to meet most learning needs. Each of these bodies has the authority to issue diplomas recognized by the British and Scottish Parliaments, Welsh and Northern Irish Assemblies.

As well as the institutes that award diplomas, there are several hundred universities and other institutes that do not have the authority to award diplomas but offer full classes that lead to UK-recognition. Lectures at these institutes are validation by those with diploma conferral authority. As the web has grown, British institutes have been able to make information about their classes available to a worldwide public.

As a result of this increase and the need for more flexibility in the supply of higher educational opportunities for a larger group of individuals, many higher educational establishments and technical institutes are now offering their diplomas through correspondence courses. They are referred to as "recognised institutions". Every British university and some higher educational establishments are accredited establishments. As a rule, the Exchange Rules are a legal instrument regularly reviewed by the Exchange Division every 2 to 3 years. British entrepreneurs are well acquainted with good faith British higher education and will find it easy to identify a fake degree. Some organizations provide fake diplomas or degree programs. The Higher Education Degree Datacheck (HEDD) is an UK Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) campaign to help combat university scams in the UK.

Irrespective of the département's approved committee listing, since 1990 HEDD has maintained UK award registers, which include name changes, fusions and predecessors. Wherever organisations claim to be fake are known, they are also included. Or use HEDD to verify whether a UK institution of higher education is or was a good institution for grad.
