Unileaks is a news organisation dedicated to publishing matters of public interest from the global higher education sector.

Unileaks is staffed by volunteers who check material against our submission guidelines.

Material published on Unileaks.org is submitted by whistleblowers. Information they provide is published in the public interest.

  • Why don't you have a official public spokes person?

Unileaks does not feel that we currently require a public face. Unileaks primary concern is the information that we publish and does not seek any form of representation. Unleaks may at some stage arrange for a public spokes person to release information if we believe that the information being released requires such efforts.

The simple answer to that question is no. Unileaks does not use any tracking measures.

We will never reveal the identity of those who contact us.

Unileaks has a section on security measures - this includes our public openPGP encryption key which can be used to send us encrypted emails - please see our security section for more info - or if you know how to use PGP encryption, you can download our public key here

Unileaks is currently funded by it's volunteers and welcomes your donations. If you would like to assist our project by providing a donation please contact media@unileaks.org to make arrangement.

Alternatively, you can post a cash donation to our mailing address (below). Please tape inside a card and conceal well. : PO Box 150, Brunswick East, VIC, 3057, AUSTRALIA.

  • Why is it taking you so long to publish the material I have sent you?

Unileaks undertakes a process of fact checking material. This can often take time to research the material so we can properly understand it's significance. If you have questions relating to material  and have not recived a response - please email media@unileaks.org detailing your concerns and we'll provide you with a detailed response.
